In the previous lesson, Java Testing - Selenium WebDriver Syntax Overview, we started going through the Java API for
the Selenium driver. In addition to the methods on the driver itself, we talked
about elements and Options
as well. In today's tutorial, we're
going to continue with cookies, windows, navigation, browser capabilities, and
file uploads.
Cookie
Since we were talking about the Cookie
class, let's take a look
at it. It provides the following methods:
getDomain()
- Returns the cookie domain.getExpiry()
- Returns the expiration date.getName()
- Returns the name.getPath()
- Returns the path.getValue()
- Returns the value.isHttpOnly()
- Returns whether the cookie can only be retrieved by an HTTP request (i.e. whether it is protected from hijacking via JS).isSecure()
