Lesson 6 - Birthday Reminder - Storing Data and Conclusion

In the previous lesson, Birthday Reminder - Wiring the Presentation and Logic Layers, we made our birthday reminder app up and running. All we lack is saving the list of people into a file and reloading it so the data isn't lost when the application is closed. We're going to solve this in today's C# .NET tutorial.

In the PersonManager class, we'll add a new private path field with the name of the file where we want to save the data:

private string path = "people.xml";

Next, we'll create two more methods - Save() and Load().
