All of the collections we've introduced offer the stream()
method, which can create a stream for us:
List<String> list = Arrays.asList("Peter", "John", "Michael"); Stream<String> stream = list.stream();

method from the
Arrays
library class:
String[] array = new String[] {"Peter", "John", "Michael"}; Stream<String> stream = Arrays.stream(array);
The Stream
interface also has the of()
method which
we can use to create a new stream:
Stream<String> stream = Stream.of("Peter", "John", "Martin");
