In the previous lesson, E-shop in ASP.NET Core MVC - Accounting Settings, we prepared the accounting settings. In today's ASP.NET Core tutorial, we'll take a look at how the VAT rate will be reflected in product prices.

The accounting settings will allow us to display product prices either without the VAT included (as until now) as well as with the VAT included. The method of displaying the price will depend on whether the seller is a VAT payer. Let's prepare a few helpers for the price calculation.

In the database, we'll store all product prices without the VAT and we'll also work with them in the models as such, otherwise it'd be confusing and we'd make mistakes. The VAT will be added at the output using
